After reading excerpts from your books, I had to order both of them. As an old time hotrodder whose best friends swore would die before I was 21, I can surely relate to the stories you tell in your books. Keep on roddin' and writin' about the good old days.

Roger, I've enjoyed your stories in the Goodguys Gazette for years. Your column is the first thing I read each month. Although I didn't have very many experiences quite as wild as yours when I was young, I am around your age and the stories bring back memories. After you moved to Denver, did you ever cruise 16th Street and the Scotchman? I may have seen you and not known it.

Great work Roger! What a job you do portraying the golden age of hot rodding for us young guys(in the Midwest). It reminds me of the great stories my Dad used to tell me. It's a wonder anyone made it out of the 60's alive! Thanks, Jim Karls Arlington, NE
