I have the first 4 books and ZI am looking forward to receiving and reading the new one, "Accidents&Incidents". The first thing I read each month in The "Goodguys Gazette" is the ";Bangin' The Gears" section. Keep up the great storys. Thanks

First column I turn to when the Goodguys Gazette shows up each month. Those stories mirror so much of my days growing up that it's a fun trip back in time. Hope they continue for years to come.

My wife and I have been lucky to meet and socialize with Dan and Roger at many different car cruises and event after we first purchased our classic Corvette. They have always been friendly and fun to talk with. Before heading to the South Pole Station in Antarctica my wife purchased a copy of Bangin' Gears and Bustin' Heads. I really enjoyed all the stories and it made me think of the up coming warm summer months taking day cruises. I left the book in the South Pole Library for others to enjoy. I can't wait to get Roger's latest book.|~~||~~|

hello Roger, I just wanted to say hello and inform you that I have purchased and enjoyed reading all of your previous automotive adventure books. the type of stories presented in your books represent one of my favorite forms of reading material. at the present time I am working on a 1957 Ford F 100 6' styleside pickup that I have owned for 20 + years. after a hiatus of roughly 7 years, caused by a back injury, I am shifting directions and attempting to finaly get the truck on the road by building it in the style of a "rat rod" (not MY favorite term , but one that is at present well known) and so simplify the process for now. keep up the good work and by all means contact me again if you publish any new books. thanks, Jake.

Hi Roger. I am ordering 1 of your books for my Dad for Christmas. I believe you may know him. His name is Wally Worth. I'm not sure how many of your books he has now, but I know they are of great interest to him. Especially since you both grew up in Denison, Iowa. Do you ever write inscriptions inside the cover? I bet that would surprise him when he opens it up! Anyway, just wanted you to know your childhood friends still follow your work!

Roger,We were both in Denver in the 60s and made the same rounds weekend nights. We may have crossed paths, though we never met face to face. Those were innocent times when we thought we knew everything. Now, we all know that we didn't know much. But, there were still some great times!

Originally from Boston. Located in SW Nebraska for five or so years and love it. It's like the country was in the 50s. And, yes, I remember the 50s. Just past 66 years old. LONGTIME hot rodder...car guy. Antique/classic aircraft and cars...restore, rebuild and so on. Got a very complete machine, welding shop.A roadster on 32 frame. 39 Ford Tudor Deluxe. And a 27 T roadster under construction. All flathead powered, of course. That's about all the Federal Witness Protection Program allows me to reveal at this time.

I grew up in a small town in southern Michigan in the late 50's early 60's. Customized, crudley at first two cars, fabricated a dune buggy and was a founding member of the Legal Rodders Hot Rod Club, now defunct. Your articles bring back many memories, good and not so good of the back country road drags, rival clubs, going into neighboring towns looking for a "run" and of course girls. Three guys and a "snuck" six pack of beer cruisin. Anyway can"t wait to reade your books.
